The Clean Comfort AMHP-300-GT is a whole-house HEPA air cleaner that mounts on the return duct of a central system. It pulls a slipstream of air off the return, scrubs it and sends it back. Run it continuously and it works through the air in a 2,000 square foot home in about an hour.
It cleans in two stages. First an activated carbon prefilter knocks down lint and odors. Then a true HEPA filter takes out at least 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 micron. That's the real HEPA standard, not a HEPA-type claim.
It moves about 320 CFM. Change the carbon and prefilter every 3 to 6 months. The HEPA filter runs 2 to 3 years before it needs swapping.
