The Clean Comfort AMP-13C is a 4-inch deep media filter with a carbon layer built in. It carries a MERV 13 rating, so it captures fine particles like smoke and bacteria along with the everyday dust, pollen and pet dander. The activated carbon side knocks down odors that a plain pleated filter blows right past.
This is the 25x25x4-1/2 size. It fits Clean Comfort and Goodman AMP and AM11 media cabinets cut for that nominal opening. The deep pleat gives it plenty of surface area, so it loads slow and holds airflow.
Plan on a change every 6 to 12 months depending on the home. Pull it sooner if the house runs dusty or there are pets.
