The Filtrete Premium Allergen, Bacteria and Virus filter steps up to a 1900 MPR rating, about MERV 13. It uses 3M's 3-in-1 technology to catch large allergens like pollen and mold spores plus the small stuff flat filters miss: bacteria, smoke and particles that carry viruses. 3M rates it at up to 72% capture of airborne virus particles and 62% of bacteria-size particles.
This is the 16x20x1 nominal size in a 1-inch frame. It fits any standard 1-inch return or filter track cut for that size. It pulls more out of the air than a 1000 MPR filter and still flows well on residential blowers.
Change it every 90 days. It's certified asthma and allergy friendly.
